About Me
Hi, I’m Bridgette! Serving families in the DMV, I am passionate about your birth and postpartum period being a positive experience. I wholeheartedly believe birth matters. My journey began 20 years ago when I gave birth naturally in a hospital setting. That day I unlocked an awe inspiring power within myself. After two hospital and two home births I felt compelled to help others achieve the birthing experience THEY want and deserve.
I am DONA trained, ProDoula certified in postpartum/infant care, CPR/NRP certified! I have been supporting families throughout their pregnancies, births, postpartum, and nursing journeys for the last 8 years.

Birth Doula
As your birth doula I will
provide emotional and physical support to you and your partner during labor and delivery, while helping to ensure your birthing experience is safe, satisfying, and empowering.
provide you with educational support to assist in making informed decisions in your birth planning process, and as needs arise during labor.
I can provide reassurance and perspective to your and your partner, make suggestions for labor progress and help with positioning, relaxation, massage, and breathing techniques to assist in relieving pain and increase comfort. I will give you my utmost support in creating the birth experience you desire!

Postpartum Day Doula
Your baby is here! Now What?
I want to ensure a smooth transition for you and your family once baby is here.
Emotional support and compassionate care after birth is so important! I am here to help you navigate the emotional challenges during this period. You deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered!
I will offer newborn care guidance and education.
I will help foster confidence in caring for your baby within your family.

Postpartum Overnight Doula
You can sleep while your baby sleeps!

I will handle overnight diapering, feeding, soothing, and help establish routines.
I will also offer support for breast/chest feeding by bringing baby to you, helping you stay comfortable, as well as assist with pumping!
